Administrative Team

Joe AhQuin
Executive Director

Joe AhQuin comes to Olympus with passion, education, and experience in providing unprecedented help for troubled teens. He has been noted as the creator of other programs in Utah, such as Liahona and Key Point in 2001 & 2006. In 1999, Joe also helped the State of Utah, Youth Corrections create an alternative program to detention for youth just entering the juvenile system. Joe has always wanted to incorporate a nurturing campus to match his innovative ideals with helping each youth make lasting progress in their life. Joe’s satisfaction has finally been met, knowing that all the things that previous endeavors lacked, has been incorporated within Olympus Academy. Joe lives by his motto…”Strong in Mind, Body and Spirit!” In Joe’s spare time, he enjoys camping, wake boarding, dirt bikes, weight lifting, fishing, and spending time with his amazing wife and children. Joe has been married for 15 wonderful years to his dazzling wife Janette. They have 4 children who love spending time getting “Slurpee’s” with dad whenever they can. Olympus is happy to have Joe and his experience in leading the academy.

Jennifer Gray
Case Manager

Jennifer relocated to beautiful Southwest Utah in 2014 from New York. She was a business owner for 10 years helping companies and individuals manage their office, finances, and life. Jennifer prides herself on being organized and solution-focused. She has a positive and radiant attitude that most people notice first about her.

Currently, Jennifer is completing her Master’s Degree to become a Clinical Mental Health Counselor. This will allow her to continue growing with Olympus Academy in helping adolescents at the most pivotal age of their life. She has excelled in her education and uses her skills whenever the chance arises.

Jennifer loves to spend her time outdoors with her husband, Andrew, and dog, Lou. She is active in mountain climbing, hiking, camping, four-wheeling, and experiencing all that Nature has to offer. She also enjoys volunteering and being active in her local community.

Matt Eschler, PhD, LMFT
Clinical Director

Matt lives in St. George, Utah where he and his wife Chris are enjoying their life with each other and their kids! Matt and Chris are active in their community and enjoy working out, training for marathons, and spending time participating in numerous activities with their teenaged and adult children. Matt is continually striving for excellence. He has received his PhD in Psychology focused on the area of resolving personal conflicts and improving interpersonal relationships. In addition to his Doctorate Degree Matt has earned a Masters in Marriage and Family Therapy, studied Criminal Justice and received a category I licensure with Peace Officer Standard of Training along with a degree in the Arts of Business Management.

Dr. LuAnne Forrest
Head School Master

Dr. LuAnne Forrest has spent the past twenty years in educational administration. LuAnne has a doctoral degree from UNLV and a Masters Degree from Utah State University. Her research on school improvement in the secondary education environment has been used in administration preparation programs throughout the nation and her doctoral research won the Distinguished Dissertation award from the National Council of Professors of Educational Administration. Dr. Forrest’s district-level administration has included Director of Curriculum and Professional Development and Director of Student Services. As Coordinator of Special Programs she oversaw a host of district-level programs and services including Alternate Language Services, Youth in Custody, Gifted and Talented Education, Indian Education, Health Services, Section 504, and Emergency Services. Before her years in educational administration, Dr. Forrest was a classroom teacher.

Samantha Kreyling
Dance Instructor

Samantha has 26 years of dance experience, and 11 years experience working with children, where she started out as a nanny. She has done everything from junior drill team, high school drill team, college dance/ballroom company, to a professional contemporary hip hop crew called kalamity and Kaos. Samantha loves to perform, and has 5 years experience in teaching dance. More than performing herself, she loves watching her students learn, grow, and perform. All Hercules students will get to enjoy dance class with miss Samantha, where they can learn jazz, lyrical, hip hop, and ballroom. As well as being the dance instructor, Samantha is one of the case managers as well. She has a bubbly personality that makes the kids feel comfortable, and happy around her. She loves the kids, and never “works” a day in her life, and the kids always feel like they can talk to her about anything. In her spare time Samantha likes to teach kinder music at the learning center for families, and of course going dancing. She’s excited to be able to be a part of these children’s lives, and reach out to help them.

Brian Musgrave

Brian Musgrave was born and raised in St. George UT. He is a fun staff who approaches everything with a positive attitude that is contagious. He is married with three kids. Brian has attended Utah State University where he studied Social Work, then transferred to Dixie State University where he is currently pursuing a Communications Degree. Brian loves working with troubled youth and has done so since 2010. Before working with youth, Brian was a security officer for the Federal Government. Brian is a PCS (positive control systems/ de-escalation techniques) Certified Trainer. He is also QPR (suicide prevention), CPR & First Aid certified.

Naomi Martineau attended elementary in Hurricane, UT, and then moved to Eagle River Alaska with her family. As the 4th child of nine, she became passionate in her ability to mentor family, as well as peers. She attributes her philosophy of a positive life to a couple of amazing teachers during her teenage years. Her most memorable moments with family were spent fishing, camping, hiking, and hunting in Alaska. Her bond with childhood friends brought her back to attend Dixie State University. While beginning a background in the medical field, she discovered psychology and communications were pivotally important to her. Teaching and caring for 5 boys, alongside her husband, has been a daily work in progress and immeasurably rewarding. Naomi enjoys a challenging work environment in which she helps others find a purpose and conquer the struggles of life.


Max AhQuin
Admissions Director

Max AhQuin has a passion for helping others achieve their goals! He is known for having a big heart, and can be found dedicating his time every Saturday feeding the homeless, which he has taken on his own. He lives by his motto… Max understands the urgency that every parent has when getting help, and he takes this very serious, and ensures that all staff in the admissions department care for each parent’s needs as if it were their own. Max has been married to his stunning wife Sunshine for 16 years. They are the proud parents of 2 fabulous children, ages 18 and 14 years old. Max enjoys spending time at Lake Powell with his friends and family, and wakeboarding. He also is an avid competitor when it comes to playing Softball, Football, and Racquetball.
